Novus Health MSK Physio service is delighted to announce a Graduate MSK Physiotherapy Scheme for talented individuals. As an organisation we recognise the need for more exceptional clinicians within the field of Physiotherapy.
With primary care busier than ever there is a growing demand to build a safe, effective and sustainable workforce. We want our patients to continue to be able to access excellent clinical care closer to home and out of hospital. As an organisation we are committed to developing clinicians to deliver exceptional patient centred care to people in our community.
What does the role look like?
After a two-week induction period, where individuals will meet the team and some of our patients, they will settle into their first working week. They will be supported in delivering class-based therapy, completing one-to-one rehabilitation in one of our in-house gyms, soft tissue clinics and face-to-face appointments. They will go on to learn the skill of remote consultations and clinical triage within primary care.
As they develop through our MSK Physiotherapy Framework, they will be exposed to more complex and unpredictable situations where they can really start to demonstrate those clinical reasoning and communication skills.
Throughout their development from Band 5 through to Band 6 clinicians will be assigned a clinical lead, who will be there to mentor, teach, coach, supervise and support along the way. They will have access to Novus Health learning and development materials, membership to The Physiotherapy Network and 5% protected paid CPD time to use as they wish! They will also attend monthly in-service training, one-to-one reviews with their clinical lead and shadow escalation clinics run by our senior clinical team.
This fantastic opportunity will have openings for a selected number of individuals in September and April each year.
